We're here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. This city promotes itself as a destination for adventure travelers. There's rafting, world class scuba and snorkeling, mountain climbing, etc.

Durian is a popular fruit. Most people have a love/hate relationship with it, due to the powerful odor.  

The fishing industry bustles here. There's a large fish market with tiny to enormous fish.

I pointed to a fish that was just the right size in an aquarium and this is how it arrived at the table. A great lunch!
