We were in Singapore for a brief stopover, late night to the following noon. We hooked up with an old friend of Jiro's, Truman and his wife Shauna. They met us at the airport and took us to our hotel. The next morning Truman was tour guide to several places that we had not yet seen.
Truman took us to the Henderson Wave, which was very unique. http://www.worldtoptop.com/henderson-waves-bridge/
Most of the housing in Singapore is built by the government. Here's an example.
Next we went to Gardens by the Bay, a new development of interesting garden features, including gigantic fake trees.
Then we walked across to the Marina Sands hotel.
Lunch at the beach with local food was our last event, before flying to Bangkok.
